The U.S. Geological Service predictive modeling estimates that Myanmar’s death toll could exceed 10,000 and the loss could be greater than the value of the country’s GDP. Hoff, a scientist in the U.S. Air Force’s earthquake hazard program, told Reuters he told Reuters that this was the cause of the death toll including the earthquake, including the Earth. “People wake up, they have wisdom to them, they can respond better,” she said.
Find workers in rubble
Most of the damage was in Mandalay, Myanmar’s second largest city, near the center of the earthquake.
