Onijah’s Viral Story

The 33-year-old American woman found herself in a serious plight in Pakistan after falling into a Karachi teenager. She travels from New York to Karachi and plans to marry him, but is stranded when the teenager exits the marriage under pressure from his family.

Onijah reportedly arrived in Karachi with a valid 30-day tourist visa on October 11, 2024. During her stay, her visa expired and she was overdue, preventing her from withdrawing from the country.

Since Robinson did not hold a valid ticket for the United States, she did not allow her to enter the Airport Security Force (ASF). Later, after Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori stepped in, she obtained a new visa, return ticket and issuance of an exit permit.

She also spent some time in the psychiatric ward at Jinnah Hospital after her health deteriorated. It can be pointed out that her son Jeremiah Robinson released videos from the United States claiming that Onijah was “bipolar” after running on social media.

She finally agreed to return to the United States after being persuaded and flew to the United States by staff from the U.S. Consulate in Karachi. It was reported that she was subsequently trapped in Dubai for nearly a month due to some issues with travel documents.
