More than 50,000 Palestinians martyred since Israel’s war on Gaza began

Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported on Sunday that the death toll of the Ministry of Health has exceeded 50,000 since the start of the conflict with Israel in October 2023, with at least 50,021 people suffering from mars.

The ministry also noted that 113,274 people were injured in the ongoing war.

Although these figures have not been independently verified, the death toll exceeds 50,000, according to Gaza Civil Defense Agency. However, the United Nations believes that the Ministry of Health’s data is reliable.

The death toll surged after the truce that had occurred most of January 19, prompting Israel to launch heavy air strikes and renew its ground attack.

In the past 24 hours alone, at least 39 deaths have been reported, with the total casualties of 673 since the resumption of Israel operations on Tuesday.

A study published in the Lancet in early January showed that the death toll in Gaza in the first nine months of the conflict was about 40% higher than the Gaza Ministry of Health records.

The latest data from the Ministry of Health also includes 233 people who were previously listed as missing but their deaths have now been confirmed.
