The Saudi Red Crescent has successfully landed on the newly built Helipad in the mosque Al Haram (Grand Mosque) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The new Helipad is designed to enhance emergency medical response.
This dedicated Helipad is part of the third Saudi post expansion in the recently completed Makkah, meaning significant progress in providing direct and effective medical assistance to millions of pilgrims visiting the site every year.

The modern Helipad has been carefully designed to accommodate air ambulance operations, ensuring rapid evacuation of patients and transport to nearby hospitals.
This initiative is particularly important during the peak pilgrimage season of Ramadan and pilgrimage, when record-breaking pilgrims could greatly damage existing medical resources.
This dedicated air ambulance service will minimize response time and provide urgent care for those in need.
