Hamas spokesperson Qanoua martyred in Israeli airstrike

News media confirmed that a Hamas spokesman was faced with a difficult problem in Israeli air strikes in northern Gaza as Israeli troops continued to re-attack the surrounded enclaves.

According to Al-Aqsa TV and Shehab News Agency, Hamas spokesman Abdel-Latif al-Qanoua bombed his tent shelter early Thursday morning as Israeli fighters bombed his tent shelter in the northern city of Jabalia early Thursday morning.

According to media reports, during the strike, including children, he was injured again.

On March 18, Israel abruptly ended a fragile two-month ceasefire as it resumed intense bombing campaigns and ground operations in Gaza. Since then, Israel has killed hundreds of Palestinian civilians in an attempt to put pressure on Hamas to release the remaining captives from the war-torn enclave.

Several senior Hamas officials have also been in trouble over the past week. On Sunday, Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza carried out an air strike at Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza, including Ismail Barhoum, head of finance and institutions at Hamas’ political office.

On the same day, Israeli fighters also bombed the tents of Palestinians displaced in Khan Younis. Salah al-Bardaweel, a well-known Hamas political leader and a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, attacked the attack with his wife.

According to Reuters News, both are part of the Hamas Political Office – Reuters reported that since the war began in the second half of 2023, 12 people have been marred.

Hamas occupied 59 of about 250 prisoners in the October 7, 2023 attack on southern Israel.

At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas attack, while the Israeli military has now killed at least 50,183 Palestinians, and has injured 113,828 people since the ground and air attacks on the Palestinian enclave.

According to statistics from the Gaza Ministry of Health, about 830 people have been hit since Israel resumed its attacks 10 days ago, with more than half of the casualties of women and children.

The United Nations Humanitarian Agency (OCHA) also announced on Tuesday that the Israeli military has forcibly displaced 142,000 Palestinians since March 18, exacerbating the already severe humanitarian situation caused by Israeli restrictions on Israeli assistance to Gaza.

The death toll in Gaza is rising, within weeks of a slow-moving and tough ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas. Mediators in the United States, Qatar and Egypt failed to secure an extension to the first phase of the three-phase agreement that expires on March 1.

Hamas accused Israel of deliberately endangering the truce discussion, aiming to achieve a permanent end to the battle.
